Nigerian Woman Ready To Protest In Abuja

A GROUP OF NIGERIAN WOMEN, UNDER THE BANNER OF “WOMEN FOR PEACE AND JUSTICE”, HAVE SAID THEY WOULD STAGE A PEACEFUL PROTEST IN ABUJA, NIGERIA’S CAPITAL CITY ON WEDNESDAY.

According to Premium Times, the women are staging the protest to demand the release of the remaining 230 Government Girls Secondary School students kidnapped in their hostel in Chibok, Borno State.

It could be recalled that about 273 school girls were reportedly whisked off by members of the Boko Haram on April 14.

It was also reported that forty-three of the girls have been found and reunited with their family after they allegedly escaped their abductors.

Since the rest of the girls are yet to be found, the Women for Peace and Justice, therefore, decided to have a one million protest march on Wednesday.

According to them, it is an attempt to bring the plight of these girls to world.

 * A FILE PHOTO OF WOMEN PROTEST

"The procession will start from the Unity Fountain, Maitama [ by Transcorp Hilton] and march to the National Assembly to and the office of the National Security Adviser to deliver letters to the Senate President, Speaker and National Security Adviser respectively.

"The procession will then march back to the Unity Fountain and the selected spokespersons will address the crowd and the media," the spokesperson of the women, Hadiza Usman, said in a statement.

Exposed:- List Of Boko Haram Sponsor

I knew the very first thing that would come to your mind was to see the numbered names listed right BUT we wont do that. The ending of this post should give you the clue of who the persons are. And recently, i published an update about a spiritualist, Alhaji Goni who based in Adamawa, threatened to make public the names of Boko Haram sponsors, in the early hours of Saturday Guru Maharaj Ji revealed that he had already beat him to it.

According to the Spiritual Leader of One Love Family with headquarters in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo, he said he had already told President Goodluck Jonathan who the sponsors of the sect are.

Guru who recently declared that both sponsors of the group and those behind the April 14 bombing at Nyanya Park in Abuja that claimed scores of lives would face repercussions of their action before the end of October revealed during an interview with our correspondent:

I HAD TOLD PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN THOSE BEHIND THESE NEST OF KILLERS (BOKO HARAM) THROUGH SEVERAL PUBLICATIONS.

 He said;

I HAVE ASKED THE PRESIDENT TO ARREST THEM BEFORE NOW BECAUSE THEY SAID THAT SINCE POWER DID NOT RETURN TO THE NORTH AFTER THE 2011 GENERAL ELECTIONS, THEY WOULD MAKE THE NATION UNGOVERNABLE.

THE SPIRIT OF THE CREATOR IS AGAINST THEM. THEY ARE GOING TO BE DEALT WITH. I WILL CALL THEM TO ORDER IN THE INTEREST OF INNOCENT NIGERIANS, ENOUGH OF THE BLOODLETTING.

If President Jonathan had listened to the advice I gave him two years ago when I was at Aso Rock, all the killings by Boko Haram would have stopped. After my visit to the villa, the bombings stopped but because those in government did not continue to tap from my spiritual grace, the bombers returned.

NIGERIA BELONGS TO ALL OF US. AS LIVING PERFECT MASTER, I CANNOT BE HERE AND ALL THESE CONTINUE. I AM CHALLENGING THE NORTHERN LEADERS TO AN OPEN DEBATE IN A NATIONAL TELEVISION. LET THEM SWEAR BY THE NAME OF THE CREATOR AND ALL THE SEVEN ELEMENTS OF THE EARTH THAT THEIR ACTIONS WERE NOT THE DIRECT REFLECTION OF BOKO HARAM ONSLAUGHT.

Guru concluded by saying that some former military rulers, a former Vice President, and some leaders in the North are the ones funding the group.

Pres. Jonathan Fires His Special Advicer (Political), Ahmed Gulak

How former Edo Governor, Igbinedion, lost N3.3billion to Venezuelan conmen

Mr. Igbinedion, who stole his state blind
while he was governor, has now been
scammed of billions by Venezuelan
fraudsters in a classic 419 deal
Nemesis may have finally caught up with ex-
convict and former Governor of Edo State,
Lucky Igbinedion, as he has lost over N3.3
billion to Venezuelan fraudsters, in a deal
that bears all the marks of a classic 419
scam, Premium Times can authoritatively
reveal.
Court documents seen by Premium Times
also suggest that Mr. Igbinedion may be
insolvent, as two US-based law firms have
walked away from a $600 million lawsuit he
instituted against the alleged mastermind
and the Venezuelan state owned oil
company, Petroleos De Venezuela S.A
(PDVSA), over his inability to pay retainer
as low as N627,000.00 ($3,800.00).
Mr. Igbinedion plundered Edo State treasury
for the eight years he was governor. He escaped
jail after he reached a controversial plea
bargain agreement with the Farida Waziri-led
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,
which dropped all but one of the 191 charges of
corruption and money laundering against him.
In 2008, a Federal High Court in Enugu
sentenced him to six months in prison with the
option of a N3.5 million fine. The controversial
plea bargain agreement he reached with the
EFCC also required that he return N500 million
and three of the houses he acquired with stolen
public funds to the Federal Government.
But it’s not yet Uhuru for Mr. Igbinedion as the
Court of Appeal in Benin ruled on April 9, 2014
that he has a case to answer over a fresh 66-
count money laundering and financial
impropriety suit brought against him by the
EFCC. A Federal High Court had ruled in 2011
that it would amount to double jeopardy and
abuse of court process to try him again after
the plea bargain he entered with the EFCC.
He has been accused of stealing over N3 billion
from Edo State’s treasury.
Classic 419-scam
In 2006, looking to cash in on the lucrative but
fraud-tainted fuel importation business, the ex-
governor’s front and Managing Director of
Skanga Energy and Marine Limited, a company
formed by Mr. Igbinedion and his brother,
Bright, in 1992, Christian Imoukhuede,
approached the then Venezuelan Trade Consul to
Nigeria, Enrique Arrundell, about the prospect
of importing petrol, aviation fuel, and diesel
from the South American country.
According to documents filed with a US District
Court in New York, Mr. Arrundell advised Mr.
Imoukhuede that the best way to get fuel was
to go through a PDVSA approved agent.
Mr. Arrundell then introduced Mr. Imoukhuede
to Arevenca, a fraudulent firm owned by alleged
notorious Venezuelan conman, Francisco
Gonzalez.
That meeting with Mr Gonzalez marked the
beginning of Mr Igbinedion’s woes.
Mr. Igbinedion and his front, Mr. Imoukhuede
claimed in court that they did due diligence
checks on Arevenca through the Venezuelan
embassy in Abuja. They claim that embassy
officials confirmed Arevenca as a reputable
Venezuelan business concern and validated
documents provided by Arevenca that
supposedly showed a relationship with PDVSA.
But it has since turned out that Arevenca might
be a complete fraud. PDVSA has since said in
court that it has no records of any relationship
with Arevenca.
Arevenca is a registered corporation under
Venezuelan law but was most recently
headquartered in Aruba. Its subsidiaries are:
Arevenca AKTM, registered in British Virgin
Islands; Arevenca SL, registered in Spain; and
Arevenca Aruba Holding NV.
Others are Arevenca Bank, Arevenca
Foundation, Fly Aruba Suriname, Arevenca
Mining and Arevenca Petroleum Company
registered in offshore tax haven, Suriname.
There is Arevenca Finances Holding registered
in Switzerland and Arevenca Ivory Coast.
Many of these subsidiaries are shell companies
or exist only in names.
A Canadian-based freelance journalist, Steven
Bodzin, who worked as an energy reporter in
Venezuela and has written a number of exposés
on Arevenca, revealed that Arevenca’s website is
a repository of mind-numbing lies meant to
hoodwink mostly unsuspecting international
investors.
For instance, on its website, Arevenca claims to
have a global refining capacity of 2.5 million
barrels per day and plans to build a two million
barrel per day refinery in Ivory Coast.
It also claims to have a fleet of 72 ships.
However, the company with the highest refining
capacity in the world as at September 2013,
Reliance Jamnagar Refinery, India, has a
refining capacity of only 1.24 million barrels per
day.
In fact, Arevenca is not listed among the top ten
refineries in the world. The only Venezuela-
based refinery in the top 10, Paraguana Refining
Centre, belongs to PDVSA and has a processing
capacity of just 955,000bpd.
And despite claiming to have 75 vessels, a
PREMIUM TIMES search on Lloyds Ship
Directories shows that Arevenca does not
operate from any of Venezuelan’s 16 ports.
There is also no proof that the company is
building a two million barrel per day refinery in
Ivory Coast as it claimed.
These are just few of the web of lies contained
in Arevenca’s website. Other false claims made
by the company to defraud investors can be
found on Mr. Bodzin’s blog.
In October 2006, Mr. Imoukhuede, who was Mr.
Igbinedion’s schoolmate, arrived at the Simon
Bolivar International Airport in Caracas and was
ushered into the VIP lounge of the facility and
later given a luxury ride to the exquisite
InterContinental Tamanaco, rated among the top
three hotels in the country.
It was at Intercontinental Tamanaco that Mr.
Imoukhuede had initial negotiation with Mr.
Gonzalez and an unnamed Nigerian.
After the meeting, Skanga reached a tentative
agreement to buy “petroleum products” from
Arevenca. Arevenca also agreed to give Skanga
the first right of refusal to buy its AGO
(diesel), PMS (premium motor spirit) DPK
(kerosene), Jet Al fuel, Bitumen and Fuel oil.
The deal was to take off with a 35,000 metric
tones of AGO in the first instance and then
grow into about three cargoes monthly,
according to an official statement by Skanga.
Bank transfer documents show that Skanga paid
$1.05 million of the $1.4 million cost of freight.
Skanga’s officials claimed during interrogation
in court that their company made these
payments ($580,000 and $470,000) based on
the proof of certain “inducement documents
which included an alleged PDVSA bill of lading.
After Skanga made these initial payments, it
became trapped. The duping of the former
governor and his corrupt clan began in full swing.
Igbinedion goes to Caracas
In January 2007, four months before the
expiration of his governorship term, Mr.
Igbinedion travelled to Caracas, ostensibly on an
official visit and possibly lavishing Edo state
money on the deal. But our investigations
indicate the visit was to put finishing touches to
the deal earlier reached by his front three
months earlier.
According to the Bolivarian News Agency (ABN),
Mr. Igbinedion and his entourage were
purportedly met by some of the influential
“Chavista” politicians in the country, as
supporters of the late Venezuelan leader, Hugo
Chávez, are called: the Mayor of Central
Caracas, Freddy Bernal, the Governor of
Miranda, Diosdado Cabello, and Deputy Foreign
Minister for Africa, Reinaldo Bolívar as well as
other top Venezuelan government officials and
businessmen.
It was an elaborate event accompanied by lavish
photo op, expensive alcohol and dinner in the
evening at the “Gran Melia Hotel, another top
three luxury hotel in Venezuela, according to
luxury hotel reservations website, Five Star
Alliance.
Mr. Igbinedion was handed the key to the city of
Caracas and announced as the “Alcaldía de
Libertador”, the honorary Mayor of the central
Caracas borough of Libertador. He also held a
meeting with top officials of the Venezuelan
Foreign Ministry at their headquarters, the
Yellow House.
But the whole fanfare was a grand charade and
part of a well orchestrated confidence trick put
together by some of the most devious conmen in
Latin America.
It later appeared that Mr. Gonzalez received an
intensive course on Nigerian niceties. Emails
from Mr. Arrundell and Gonzalez to Mr.
Igbinedion have that uniquely Nigerian
informality. Rather than write in a formal
manner as one would have expected of parties in
a multi-million dollar deal, they addressed Mr.
Igbinedion as “My brother Lucky” or “Dear
brother Lucky.”
One letter by Mr. Gonzalez, filled with
grammatical errors, reads:
Dear brother lucky
I already send the dignity signed invoice.
You know what this mean. Nobody do this,
but I always honored my word, agins all the
logical and normal status. I prefer died that
do not honored my word. This is another
demonstration that I am a honor man. That
mean that the product is yours. I trust you
like a brother I hope you do not let me down.
I do not want disappoint you, I hope you do
not disappoint me.
Best regards, You brother and friend
Francisco JAvier Gonzalez
The geniality of Mr. Gonzalez’s letters coupled
with the grand reception, some would say
deception, he got during his “official” visit to
Caracas apparently made Mr. Igbinedion even
more trusting of the Venezuelan gang.
Nigerian thief, money launderer, is scammed
After a couple of other meetings later that
year, Arevenca made Skanga a deal too good to
be true: a consignment of 35,000 metric tonnes
of diesel will be sent to Skanga.
All it needed to do was to prepay the charges
for delivery and complete the full payment for
the delivery in three months.
Mr. Igbinedion could not believe his luck. Skanga
promptly transferred $19.6 million more to
Arevenca’s Swiss bank account as freight
charges and partial payment for two
consignments of Petrol and diesel aboard two
vessels named “Digniti” and “Ventur.”
The vessels never arrived.
The Nigerian Port Authority said it does not
have any record of “Digniti” or “Ventur” entering
Nigerian waters at the time it was billed to
arrive.
In fact, PREMIUM TIMES investigation reveals
that there are no vessels named “Dignitii” or
“Ventur”.
Searches on Lloyds directories and other ship
directories show that the ship don’t exist
anywhere in the world.
All efforts made to contact the Venezuelan
embassy to confirm the extent to which Mr.
Arrundell, who has been posted out of the
country, was involved in the scam was
unsuccessful.
The embassy’s phone number seems to be out of
order and emails were returned as undelivered.
Mr. Imoukhuede declined to comment when
contacted by PREMIUM TIMES. He explained
that since the case is in court, Skanga’s lawyer
was in the best position to make public comments
on the matter.
“You know the case is in court. I don’t think I am
at ease to talk about it. I would have to talk to
the lawyer. I can’t make any comment. The
Nigerian legal system is different from the
American system. The best thing is to talk to
Femi Salu,” he said.
EDITOR’S NOTE: The remaining parts in this
series will look at courtroom intrigues; how two
of Igbinedion’s American counsel abandoned the
case due to his inability to pay their retainer.
A part will look at the role played by MRS Oil
Nigeria Limited plus interesting revelations in
court while another will take a look at the role
of the Venezuelan authorities in the entire scam.

Nollywood Actress, Rachel Oniga Opens Up On Her Failed Marriag

Top Nollywood actress, Rachael Oniga in a recent interview
talks about her separation from her late husband.
The scandal free single mother of three tells The Entertainer in
this interview.
On the extent her late ex-husband hurt her: He hurt me
badly.Yes. During our years of courtship and marriage, I never
suspected that we would just break up like that or anything
could ever come between us. Back then he told me everything.
I could tell you where he was at every moment; I trusted him so
much.
On meeting the other woman her ex-husband left her for: It
was later, much later and when I did I was like ‘did he leave me
because of this thing?’ I don’t know how to put it but men
don’t really appreciate what they have until they lose it.
On how she got
over the shock and the journey afterwards: I believe so much
in myself, and when I got over the shock of the separation and
all that, I made up my mind that I was going to make a
statement without a man. I wanted to prove that a hardworking
woman could make an impact and with God’s grace I have
come a long way.
The truth is that when you’re focused and you know where
you’re going to, you’re likely to succeed. I made up my mind
then that I wasn’t going to remarry. I was determined to make it
and make all men including my late husband know that with
God by her side, a woman can make it in life without a man’s
support.
Rachael also advised other women going through the same
situation she said: “Just believe in yourself and with hard work,
you will get there. God is always faithful. I killed my emotions
and I said to myself ‘Rachael, your kids must go to the best
schools.’ It was just work and my children.
Rachael Oniga, a computer programmer who got into
Nollywood in 1993 has remained one of the few actresses that
has successfully carved a niche for herself both in the
English and Yoruba sector of the movie industry.
The Delta born veteran actress whose first job was on a TV
series, a programme called Memorial Hospital played a
challenging role in her first movie called ‘Onome” has since
featured in over 100 movies.

18-year-old Mother kills her own new born child because he looked like her ex-boyfriend

18-year-old Ana Rosa Mora has been arrested for killing her
own child because the the new born looked like her ex-
boyfriend. Ana wrapped her baby in a bag and left him outside
to die because she feared the child looked like her ex-
boyfriend and her current boyfriend would leave her.
The Chicago Tribune reports that the teen gave birth last
weekend and attended school on Monday after allegedly
committing the act and even showed staff members pictures of
a newborn girl that she claimed she downloaded from the
Internet.
But after employees noticed strange behavior – such as the girl
asking if authorities could link her to the child through DNA
and lying about the baby’s age – they alerted authorities.
The child had been found by a construction worker a few hours
after the child was left outside. The boy was born alive but died
of asphyxia and possible exposure, authorities said.
The new mother said her ex-boyfriend was the father and when
the child was born she feared her current boyfriend would
notice and leave her, the newspaper reported. She was arrested
Friday April 25th.
Mora, who was scheduled to graduate from high school in June
and attend college in the fall is facing charges of first-degree
murder and is now being held on $500,000 bail.

How My Uncle Has Been Having Sex With Me Since 2013 – 12-Year-Old Girl Opens Up

A 32-year-old man, Anthony Wayas has been arrested
Rivers State Police Command for allegedly having sex with
his 12-year-old niece since 2013.
The girl (name withheld) has been living with her uncle Wayas
and his wife in Finima community in Bonny Local
Government Area since the death of her father while she still a
baby.
The accused, Wayas and his niece
Recounting her ordeal, the girl said her uncle started abusing
her sexually in 2013. He would leave for work in the morning
and come back during the day while his wife is away at her
work place where she’s a cleaner.
She said, “He would take the children to the big room, asking
them to stay there, and would take me to the small room. He
would remove my pant and push me on the bed. He would then
remove his trousers and bring out his manhood. He would then
put it inside me and sleep with me. I can’t count the number of
times it has happened. When I told the wife, she threatened to
return me to our village .”
On April 19, her uncle dragged her into the bathroom and had
sex with her, warning her not to shout. The next day, she
reported the incident to a neighbour who told someone else
that came to interview her. After the interview, they called
youths in the area who beat him up mercilessly and almost
lynched him but for the intervention of policemen from Finima
police station, led by the Divisional Police Officer, Mohammed
Suleiman Baba.
According to a reliable source within the community, the case
of defilement was reported to the chairman of Finima Youth
Congress, Comrade Aladiokuma Hart, who in turn notified the
DPO and the girl was put in protective custody as Wayas, had
allegedly threatened to kill her if she should expose him.
Wayas however denied having sex with the girl, claiming he
has a problem with his manhood which has resulted in his
inability to make love to a woman.
Confirming the story, the Deputy Police Public Relations
Officer in Rivers State, Grace Iringe-Koko said that the case
had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation
Department for further investigations, after which the suspect
would be charged to court if found guilty of the crime.

Police kill Three Suspected Robbers, Arrest Herbalist, Two Others

The Ogun State Police Command, yesterday,
said it had killed three suspected robbers and
arrested a herbalist and two others in two
robbery operations in the state.
According to the Police Public Relations
Officer in the state, Muyiwa Adejobi, in a
statement, men of the Ogun State Command’s
Special Anti Robbery Squad led by Inspector
Adeyemi Akeem on Friday, April 25 burst a
gang of robbers that specialised in snatching
cars, at toll gate in Otta, Ogun State around
6pm, killing two of the robbers and arrested
one Yusuf Ahmed.
He said: “The robbers had snatched one
Mercedes Benz ML 320 SUV with number
plate LND 779 AQ from the owner at Dalemo
area of Ota on Thursday, April 24 around
2pm and the team had since then put them
under surveillance before the arrest.
“The syndicate had been on the wanted list of
the command for the past one year, having
been involved in robbries within and outside
Ogun State.
“The suspect,Yusuf Ahmed, 21, is from Oja
Oba in Ibadan, Oyo State but resides in
Temidire area of Ota in Ogun State. He is an
alumnus of the Command Secondary School,
Ibadan 2010 set and had been before now
sentenced to imprisonment at Ikoyi Prison,
Lagos State for a similar offence where he
spent nine months before he was released.
“In the same vein, the same SARS team
encountered another syndicate that
specialised in highway robberies in the state.
“During the encounter, one of the robbers
was shot and later died while two of them,
who were fatally injured, were arrested with
one pump action gun, three locally made guns
and 30 rounds of ammunition.
“One of the suspects is Obong Imeh, 37, an
Efik man from Akpabuyo Local Government
Area of Cross River State, who resides at
Ikenne Remo, Ogun State. He is a father of
three and has been in the dirty business for
years, according to him.
“He is a strong man (spiritually) as he used to
disappear whenever he encountered security
operatives except his blood touches the
ground before he could be arrested. So he
was arrested when the police bullet hit him
and his blood touched the ground.
“The second suspect, Sarumi jide,37, a father
of 2 is from Ita Ajia, Ilorin Kwara State. He
finished from the Technical College ijebu-
Igbo Ogun State in 2010.
“Sarumi is the Armourer to the syndicate and
he claimed to be getting the arms from cult
boys in Ijebu Ode whenever they had
operations.
“The commissioner of Police in Ogun state
CP Ikemefuna Okoye has ordered the
SARS to carry out a thorough
investigation on the two cases and fish out
other members of the two syndicates and
their accomplices.
“He however assured the general public of
bringing the suspects to book so as to serve
as deterrent to others in the state and
Nigeria at large.
“ He also reaffirmed his directive of putting
officers and men of the command on their
toes to continue the war against cultism in
Ogun state as these revelations unfold on
their connivance with armed robbers who
terrorise the good people of the state”, he
said.

SHOCKING STORY!!! Married Woman Opens Up On Her Addiction To Men And S*x [Adults Only]

I think I realized I had a problem when I was
walking back to the house of a man that had
physically hurt me badly in the act of S*x,
and I was willingly about to give myself up to
him again.
Despite being terrified and it making me
tremble and sick, I somehow couldn’t stop
myself, I had to have my fix. Afterwards I
felt used, I hated myself for what I had
done, but that didn’t stop me. ‘It wasn’t just
men, it was pórn, dangerous S*x,
exhibitionism, everything was just…S*x, S*x,
S*x, which meant just about anything that
could give me that high.
The more intense, the more I needed, like it
wasn’t enough, I had become desénsitised to
it.’ Speaking in a recent interview, Becky said:
S*xaddiction is a hotly debated topic on
which psychologists simply cannot agree. An
addiction originally referred to a chemical
dependence on a substance that had physical
and psychological effects.
‘Behavioral’ addictions, for example to
gambling, shopping or S*x, are more open to
interpretation as they cannot be
scientifically understood. S*x does create
chemical reactions within us and some
psychologists believe that this can create a
sort of semi-physical dependency as well as
the behavioral element to this particular
‘addiction’.
It is quite commonly agreed that an addiction
is present when a person cannot easily stop
something, even when not stopping is
detrimental to their lives.
In Becky’s case she explains that her need
for S*x was creating very real difficulties
for her. ‘It was affecting other areas of my
life, my self esteem, the relationships I had
with my friends and my family, who by the
way could see what I had become, but I was
determined I was in control.’ She explains.
When asked why she felt the need to behave
this way Becky tells us ‘It really was like a
drug, the adrénaline, the fear, the ‘buzz’ was
intense, then the low afterwards was just
like a comedown, yet S*x seemed to be the
only way I felt appreciated or ‘good’ at
something.’
Although it is more common for men to admit
to S*xual addictions, and some of these
‘addictions’ surface only when an indiscretion
has forced someone to look at their
inappropriate behavior, there are women like
Becky who are finally coming out of the
shadows and discussing this issue.
‘I know where it stems from (Becky refers to
abuse in her childhood she does not want to
discuss), but even with the knowledge it’s not
as simple as just stopping a pattern of
behavior, I had to change everything including
the way I looked at myself.’
Thankfully Becky is now in a stable and loving
relationship and has received counseling.
Although her darkest days are behind her she
admits ‘I am learning everything from
scratch, relationships, boundaries, and my
own values.
It isn’t easy but when you love someone you
do change, I have always been able to do
things for other people that I cannot do for
myself.’
‘I still place very high value on S*x, I need to
feel wanted in that way or my world falls
down, if my husband say’s ‘not tonight’ I feel
like it’s the end of the world, but hey I am
finally having great, fun, non-dangerous S*x,
I want as much as I can get!’ She sums up.
Becky had counselling that she say’s ‘really
helped’ her but agreed that the biggest
change came from within.
If you are struggling with your desires and
think you need help, please don’t be shy to ask
for help.

Northern Delegates To Confab Welcom Intervention By US, UK

Northern delegates to the ongoing National Conference have welcomed the intervention of the United States and the United Kingdom in the move to rescue the remaining school girls abducted from their school in Chibok, Borno State.

They slammed the federal and state authorities for their lackadaisical attitude towards salvaging the security situation in the country.

The Northern delegates said that the news of the agreement between the president and governors to join forces to defeat the insurgency came to them as a surprise.

In a statement issued by their spokesman, Mr. Anthony AZ Sanni, the delegates nevertheless called on the Boko Haram Islamic insurgents to release the girls, saying it was irrational to hold women or girls as victims in any conflict.

In a statement, Sani said that the Northern Delegates Forum is happy to read reports that USA and UK have decided to lend Nigeria their helping hands in the spirited efforts to rescue the abducted girls. That is how it should be, since terrorism transcends national boundaries.

While calling on the abductors to release the girls, the forum said: This is because there is no conflict in the world, be it secular or religious, that allows women and children to be victims. More so that violence has never resolved any perceived grievance. Only constructive dialogue does. So let us embrace civilized way of resolving perceived differences rather than resort to violence that is often unhelpful because it offends many peoples sense of justice.

The forum welcomed the news of the agreement between the president and the governors, saying, The recent reports that Mr. President and state governors have resolved to come together to put an end to security challenges across the country, though heartening, have come to Nigerians and northern delegates as a surprise. A surprise in the sense that it took them so long to realize that the primary responsibility of government is to protect lives and property of the people.

Now Jonathan In Danger Of Impeachment

THIRTY SEVEN FORMER MEMBERS OF THE PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP), ARE GOING TO OFFICIALLY FILE THE IMPEACHMENT MOTION AGAINST THE INCUMBENT PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN.

Vanguard reports that the legislators, who defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC), also plan to come up with the sensitisation campaign aimed at disclosing the misdeeds of the administration.

However it has been gathered that Speaker Aminu Tambuwal and some PDP supporters, who are said to be strongly against the impeachment motion, recommended the legislators to give up this idea saying that their plan could worsen their image.

A source close to the legislators told Vanguard that the impeachment notice contained 30 points describing alleged misdeeds of the administration.

They also want to drag Jonathan before the International Court of Justice for genocide in the North-East and crime against humanity. For this purpose former PDP rrepresentatives are to submit the petition to all embassies and international bodies.

One of the legislators whose name was not provided commented on their further moves:

"The 37 of us are going to pay visits to all former presidents and vice presidents concerning the issue and to explain why we are taking this position... Since the President does not want peace and he is going for our jugular, it's a fight to finish this time around and he stands to lose more at the end of the day."

8 year Old Girl Found Unconcious In Mobil Police Men Appartment

RESIDENTS OF OLUFOWOBI STREET, KETU, LAGOS, WERE THROWN INTO CONFUSION AFTER AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD GIRL, AMARACHI ABAKWAM, WAS FOUND TIED UP AND BRUTALISED UNDER THE BED OF A POLICEMAN ATTACHED TO POLICE MOBILE FORCE 22.

Punch Metro reports that the policeman, Augustine Gbuchenge, with Force number 400823, lived in the same compound with Amarachi's family.

The father of the victim, Patrick, told PUNCH Metro that on the fateful day he had been looking everywhere for his daughter until they discovered her under Gbuchenge's bed.
  Patrick said:

 > "Last Thursday, I returned from work around 7.30pm and met my children and wife outside. There was power failure on that day so everywhere was dark. I asked after Amarachi but my wife said she was probably in our apartment sleeping.

 > I was not satisfied with this explanation because my children don't usually sleep early.
 > When I went up, I did not see my daughter so we started asking around. Some little children in the compound then told me that Gbuchenge had called my daughter earlier to help him buy akara.
  I we

 > It was learnt that when

buchenge's door open. PUNCH Metro learnt that when the little girl was finally pulled out from under the bed, she was bound by her hands and feet while a piece of cloth had been stuffed in her mouth.

Amarachi was said to have been bleeding profusely as she had sustained a broken skull. She was subsequently taken to Gbagada General Hospital but due to the severity of her wound, she was referred to the Lagos Island General Hospital.

When Punch's correspondent visited the victim at the hospital, she was seen wearing a neck brace while her head had been bandaged.
Narrating her ordeal, Amarachi said: "On that day, he (Gbuchenge) asked me to buy akara for

Bring Back Our Girls: T.B Joshua Pridict Divine Rescue, Says " Confrontataion Is Dangerous"

*OPERATION UNDERWAY FOR ABDUCTED SCHOOLGIRLS*

Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua proclaimed to his congregation on Sunday 27th April 2014 that the abducted schoolgirls in Borno State were on the verge of being released by God, adding that almost half had already escaped their kidnappers clutches.

Amid mounting public fury and an international outcry over the fate of 230 kidnapped Nigerian teenage girls - now missing for nearly two weeks the controversial cleric declared, They have to be released. That is the voice of God!

He proceeded to describe a revelation he claimed God had shown him. I saw a vision where some of these girls have escaped and they are trying to find their way from the forest to the town.

He added that the remaining children under custody would also be released soon. God has spoken these children must be released, Joshua authoritatively declared. We cant wait to see them.

In a message broadcast live via Joshuas widely viewed station Emmanuel TV and subsequently posted on his official Facebook page followed by close to 1,000,000, he counseled the girls parents to know that people felt their pain. It is not your battle alone but the battle of all people of God all over the world. They are also our children.

Joshua, however, warned that security forces involved in rescue efforts should be careful not to be drawn into unnecessary confrontation. God has promised all of them will come out free, without harm and hurt. However, if there is unnecessary confrontation, it may affect them, the pastor, whose recent YouTube clip showing a prophecy of the ill-fated MH370 plane went
viral and garnered international media attention, cautioned.

Let us be prayerful and at the same time be tactical and strategic, so they will not harm our dear schoolgirls, he advised. Their captors are in a place where they cannot move forward or backwards. Confrontation is dangerous.

Joshua then led the 30,000 strong congregation at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in prayer. Pray for the protection of these girls. Remember our security forces too in prayer. Ask God to give them more wisdom and a clean and clear strategy, so that their approach will not be attack for attack. No matter what the militants do, even if they attack, they should not attack back in order not to harm our girls.

The Nigerian cleric, who is touted to be one of Africas 50 mostinfluential people and was the recent focus of an Associated Pressinterview, concluded by advising his supporters to observe Tuesday as a day of prayer. With God, all things are possible.

His Facebook post was signed off with the hashtag #BringBackOurGirls which has come to characterize the voice of concern from social media users as to seemingly lackluster response from the Nigerian government to the crisis.

On Monday 14th April 2014, insurgents suspected of belonging to the jihadi group Boko Haram abducted the girls, who were students at Chibok Government Girls' Secondary School, from their dormitories, loading them onto trucks, before setting the boarding school ablaze.

The girls, who are all aged between 16 and 18 and mostly come from
Christian families, are thought to be held captive in a notorious region called the Sembisa Forest, a known jungle hideout of Boko Haram in Borno State. The search and rescue operation for the remaining captive teenagers has yielded no positive results so far, and to mounting public frustration, has also been shrouded in secrecy.

British Foreign Secretary William Hague said he is "appalled" by the abductions. Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown said he too was in contact with the Nigerian authorities and had offered assistance. "The world must wake up to the escalating tragedy now engulfing Nigeria, he said.

Wole Soyinka and other human rights activists have expressed the
widely-held fear that the girls could be held for years to be used as sex slaves. There is also speculation in Borno State that they are being used as human shields to deter military action against Boko Haram camps.

Missing School Girls: We Are Close To Abductors' Den - Defence HQ

The military disclosed, yesterday, said their major offensive to rescue the remaining 190 abducted students of Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok in Borno State was yielding fruit, as they have moved closer to the abductors den.

The Director of Defence Information, Maj.-Gen. Chris Olukolade, who spoke with newsmen, yesterday, on the sideline of media tour of military operations in Maiduguri, said the military was satisfied with the ongoing operations in Borno.

According to him, the troops had sustained momentum in terms of the offensive against the terrorists, notwithstanding the reactions from the insurgents.

The bases we visited are part of the responses to the terrorist offensive and that is an achievement; the military had moved close to where the insurgents are. It shows that the military had taken over the land. The morale of the soldiers was high, and we are expecting to see more successes from the troops.

A correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), who was on the media tour, reports that the group visited military camps in and around Maiduguri.

The group visited 7 Division Headquarters of the Nigerian Army, 7 Division Garrison, military check points in and around Maiduguri, among others. At the camp in the outskirts of Bulanbuli, the soldiers were seen carrying out their duties as expected.

Maj.-Gen. Ahmed Mohammed, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 7 Division of the Nigerian Army, who was also on the tour of the formations, told the troops that the Federal Government was happy with their operations. That is why we are here to say a big thank you and to convey the appreciation of the whole country. I wish to say big thanks for your courage and dedication., he said

The journalists were also taken on night patrols by the troops which lasted from 9 p. m. to 12.30 a.m. around Maiduguri and its environ. The essence of the tour, according to Olukolade, is to have a first-hand information on the operations of the troops.

Senior military officers from the Army and the Air Force had earlier held a strategic meeting at Army headquarters in Abuja to formulate strategies on how to rescue the abducted girls.

Major General Ahmed Mohammed was summoned to Abuja to be part of the strategic meeting.

See Why Such Ladies Are Cheap And Have More Sexual Partners

Nothing happens for nothing these days. When you see ladies who can't seem to keep their legs close and are in a hurry to open up for any man that come there way, something is responsible. But what is that thing
According to a new controversial study, it has revealed what the most feminine party of your body tells about your personality and why hips don't lie. To understand if the diameter of the woman's hips reflects her nature and relationships with the men, the British scientists offered 148 women to participate in their research.

All of the women had at least one sxual partner. And they give answers to sensitive questions such as:

  The age at which they lost their vir'ginity;
  The number of sxual partners they had had;
  Emotional significance of sxual relationships they had had;
Then their body parameters were measured: hip circumference at the widest point and the waist circumference at its narrowest point. Hips wider than 36 centimetres were classified as wide, while hips below 31 centimetres as small.

Funny enough, the study has found that women with wide hips are more likely to have one-night stands and more sxual partners in general. And the wider the hips are, the more one-night stands a woman had.

According to researches, such a phenomenon can be explained from the biological point of view, as the birth process for such women is generally easier and less traumatic than for the smaller-hipped. Whilst women with smaller hips psychologically programmed to avoid any potential fatal childbirth-related injury they largely eschew impermanent sxual contacts.

This latest research is published in the Archives of Sxual Behaviour and many observers are saying it's true.

Davido Would Be Ideal For Me - Cynthia Morgan

Dancehall Queen Cynthia Morgan recently gave a full candid interview to Vanguard, and revealed that Davido is her number one crush.

Cynthia who is signed to Jude Okoye’s North Side Entertainment believes if Omo Baba Olowo himself tries her out, they could work something out.

She also addressed the rumours that she is using Dencia’s whitenicious products, saying she has never tried to use such products.

When asked about her reported use of Dencia’s whitenicious products she said: It’s not true .It’s one of the craziest things I have heard about myself. No, I am not using Whitenicious. A picture surfaced online where your pictures were blended together.

On the contrast of her skin

What I will love to say about that is that in life people grow and change with time .For example, I was born with a talent and over the years, I improved on the talent. For me, I grew up, then I was very young and I was even a tomboy and don’t even think I used cream . I grew up and I am lighter .People don’t look the way they looked five-six years ago. If you still look like that, then you have a problem and that could mean you are not growing. It’s either you are fatter, slimmer , lighter or darker or have a pot belly. People grow.

Davido

That will be Davido, because for me he is hardworking. Over the years he has been able to prove himself that he is talented and not all about being just a rich kid and I think he is cute too.

But because I have a crush on him doesn’t mean I want to have a relationship with him .But if he says :’Oh my God! I love you.’ We can work something out.

Yes! magazine replies Harrysong, insists he did say his parents are siblings

Yes! Magazine quoted singer Harrysong as saying his parents
are siblings in an interview with them a while back. Harrysong
released a statement some days ago denying he ever made the
comment. The magazine editors have now released their own
statement insisting that he did say it.
Our attention has been drawn to a very disparaging
comment from Harrysong, an up and coming artiste over
an interview we conducted with him at Kcee's Omole
Phase 2, Ikeja, Lagos home.
As a responsible medium, Yes International! had wanted
to ignore him and his deliberate act of mischief. But on a
second thought, we decided otherwise, because in our
considered opinion, it will be suicidal to disregard the
young man's insinuations and cheap blackmail.
However, we are also not unaware of Harrysong's
ignorance and this again is a restraining factor on our
side. Continue
So, we wish to inform Harrysong and people like him that a
print medium or any organization for that matter that deals in
news has a right to stagger any interview. What is giving him
sleepless nights is the content of the interview which very few
people will be proud of. But he did not speak under duress. So,
we are wondering what prompted this sudden outburst and
antagonism. More so, when he applauded the interview at the
time it was first used on the cover of our magazine.
For the records, it is important to state that this controversial
interview resurfaced because our website crashed and in
rebuilding it, we are uploading our lost materials. In addition,
we wish to inform Harrysong that the original tape is still
intact and if he wishes to listen to his voice one more time, he
is free to drop by at our Budland, Ikeja, Lagos office. Likewise
any other person.

Boy 17, Stabs Sister Over Relationship With Man He Dislikes

For lack of a better and more civil way to express his opposition to the man his elder sister is dating, a 17-year-old boy in Marine Beach, Apapa area of Lagos State, has sent her to the hospital with stab wounds.

The teenager, simply identified as Francis, was said to have warned his elder sister, Mary, to put an end to whatever form of relationship she had with the man, simply named Isiaka, because he loathed him.

In a chat with LEADERSHIP Weekend, the minors friend, Charles, said Francis had been unhappy since he suspected his elder sister was in a relationship with Isiaka.

According to Charles, his friend hated Isiaka with a passion for no just cause, adding that when Francis confronted his elder sister with the issue of her relationship with the man he had come to despise, she dismissed him with a wave of the hand.

He added that Mary shunned her brother, warning him not to ever interfere in her relationship with Isiaka. She also reportedly threatened to report the matter to their father when he comes back from work, insisting that she would marry Isiaka whether he liked it or not.

Her insistence, according to Charles, irked Francis, who dealt his elder sister a blow to the lips, resulting in blood gushing out of the cut.

Mary reportedly held unto Francis, who in turn broke an empty bottle of beer and stabbed her before fleeing the scene.

The injured Mary was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Dr Brimah Will Fight Boko Haram; Ask Jonathan For Permission

26th April, 2014: Chief Anyim Pius Anyim, GCON, Secretary to the Government of the Federation

For onward transmission to the President, C-in-C of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan

  Dear Mr. President,
Following our call on April 23rd, 2014, we have been inundated by responses from thousands of Nigerians, who have been saying one thing and only one thing: we will go and fight these people. Nigeria's men, women, old and young from across the six geopolitical zones, across the entire nation have emailed and called us and requested only one thing: a mandate to mobilize and defend the territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from the northeast headquartered insurgency.

Never before have Nigerians been so united on any singular issue than they are on this nagging, death breathing crisis. From the Adamawa plateau's to the Savannah belt, to the creeks of Bayelsa among Nigerians of all opinions, religious persuasions, educational and social classes; military, professionals and students, home and abroad; there has been an avalanche, a massive outpouring of patriotic fervor to deliver the nation from a savage, demoralizing and disheartening, seemingly inscrutable situation.

MANY ARE SAYING THE SAME THING:

Never again are we going to run away from our responsibility to our fellow countrymen and to our nation. These people, young, old, men, women; all cadres of Nigerians have requested that you involve them, that you engage them and that you mandate them to engage the enemy. This fight can no longer be limited to members of the Nigerian armed forces and the security service. This fight is no longer restricted to northeast Nigeria or to Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states. This fight, this movement to eradicate from among us, the menace of wanton terror and banditry is for all and to be engaged by all. This fight is now a Nigerian fight.

Young men and women in Borno state, under the Civilian-JTF have shown the way. The rest of Nigeria's good men and women are now prepared to follow. Nigerians of all persuasions all over the country are requesting the President, that you give official approval immediately to this initiative of the people against terror. This commitment will require funding; it will require training, it will require collaboration and cooperation with the security services. We hereby request that you give approval and direct the corresponding arms of government to act necessarily.

The battle against Boko Haram terrorism has waged unabated since 2011. As the months and years have gone by, Boko Haram has increased in tenacity, reach and ruthlessness. Chronic decimations of towns in Nigeria's middle belt by "unknown gunmen" have been found to actually be Boko Haram's wider terror campaign across Nigeria. Uncontained, this terror threat has destroyed life and hope most especially across the north. The Nyanya bombing, the 5th worst such explosives event in the world's history since 1970, demonstrates the increasing threat Boko Haram presents not just to Nigeria but to its neighbors and the larger world. Millions in property has been damaged, lifestyles, irreversibly changed, over 40,000 lives have been taken by estimates, thousands have been maimed and hundreds of thousands have been displaced. The death, damage and hurt cannot be quantified.

Nigeria's army is doing a valiant job, however the army is heavily bogged down and politics and systemic corruption do not allow a full equipping of the army to combat this crises; the morale of the army is plunging. For four years, with a full army deployment, Boko Haram terrorists have remained holed up in Sambisa, Damboa, and other known jungles in Borno. The army is unable to finish them in these known, defined forests. It is appreciated that when the valiant Civilian-JTF joined the war against Boko Haram ten months ago, these brave men fighting and dying, with knives and daggers only, significantly changed the dynamics of the conflict. The role and potential of good civilians in this conflict cannot be undermined and can no longer be underexploited.

In recognition of these, and the many more factors we all are overtly cognizant of, Nigerians must and have decided to take more prolific, deliberate, strong actions to deliberately abate an unending situation of grave, unpredictable consequences. We the people have decided to fully join the war against Boko Haram, to finally and completely check this menace.

The ENDS organization has been in regular communication with the Civilian-JTF, whom we have supported with equipment and advice and we have understood and appreciated their ability and determination to seek-out and crush Boko Haram once and for all; and we have been sensitized to their logistic and equipment handicaps and limitations.

Since we made the call for Jihad (Holy war) against Boko Haram, Nigerians of all ethnicity and creeds from all parts of the country and abroad have volunteered to take part in this divine crusade against the unbecoming menace. Ex-military men have dedicated to serve in this mission. Our school graduates, both employed and not, have decided to fulfill their pledge to the nation and to God. Donations have started pouring in towards the mission to rescue our Chibok 200 girls and to seek out and eliminate Boko Haram in all their hideouts.

Two of many messages we have received as posted below, go to show the inviolable determination of the people to tackle this seeming helpless, chronically protracted crises:

Godwin ****** from Nasarawa wrote us:

I am ready to serve as a volunteer... am a Christian from Nassarawa state living in Abuja. Enough is enough, the truth must come out. I would serve as a media correspondent in the rescue to show Nigeria's what has never been seen before. If we die we die... my number is 0803*******...

Another blessed volunteer, Garba wrote us:

I hereby request to join your campaign against insurgents with a view to securing the freedom of all those held against their will. I retired from the Nigerian air force in year 2000 in the rank of wing commander.

Based on the responses, our faith in the millions of good people of Nigeria and the support coming from local and international organizations and individuals, we are confident of our ability to raise an army of 50,000 volunteers. We are also at this time, not imposing a request for any financial assistance from the Nigerian government. We the people and friends of Nigeria are capable and ready to arm this civilian force and sponsor all logistics of the operation.

The time for blame and suspicion is over. The die has been cast; our civilians, the youngest, most innocent and vulnerable are dying and being abducted into a horrific life of rape. We are ready to join and fully equip the Civilian-JTF to the capacity to achieve success.

This is a path that providence has bestowed upon us and we shall not shirk our responsibility. We will kill and arrest the miscreant terrorists and properly investigate their sponsorship.

Our plan of engagement which will be in league with the Nigerian military will include battle training with the federal army responsibly engaged. The civilian force will be documented biometrically and all weapons and equipment will be registered for use during the duration of the force majeure.

We will kit ourselves appropriately for this battle. We are confident of our ability to purchase equipment that will ensure a swift victory over these few riffraffs in our forests and border regions and mingling I our towns.

We plan to seal their access to the borders and trap the terrorists within Nigerian territory, to eliminate them without permitting them escape. We will drive our cars to Borno to use in the mission. We will starve them in their hideouts.

The civilian war against Boko Haram will be conducted under the safest guidelines of combat. We will be acquiring surveillance drones and Quadrocopters which will avail us live recordings and images of Boko Haram hideouts and their formations and movement. We will employ traps and baits and traffic spikes to limit Boko Haram movement around perimeters of engagement and upon their retreat. Our army units will be equipped with adequate communication devices.

We tender this plan and proposition to the relevant authorities and the Nigerian people for quick approval. Time is of the essence. On our right of approval for this request, it is recognized that politicians arm thugs to wage battles for them. Boko Haram and MEND are two known results of the placing of arms in the hands of Nigeria's bad people. The Odua People's Congress, OPC are also known to openly bear arms. Tompolo, an ex-militant who was actively and destructively engaged against the Nigerian nation, is today sponsored heavily with millions of dollars by the Nigerian government to equip an army to "guard Nigeria's oil installations." Today, we request that Nigeria's noble and not bad people, who have already demonstrated their worth and paid the ultimate price, are officially authorized to bear arms in a limited-duration mission to crush Boko Haram terror, which is the most significant threat and nuisance to Nigeria.

Myself inclusive, we are preparing to proceed to Borno to the frontlines to coordinate and engage Boko Haram in battle and end this terror once and for all. We will win the war against terror. We will battle and solve Nigeria's worst problems one by one. Nigerians are tired of being a disgrace to the world, topping lists in worst terror events, abductions, kidnapping and other dangerous crises. Too many innocent Nigerians have been killed. We fondly remember Ms Rahmat Abdullahi, bombed in the UN building bombing of 2011. Late Colonel Kabir Salisu; the wife and uncle of Musa, a lecturer in Maiduguri and a host of great citizens we have lost to Boko Haram extremists are immortalized in our memories and their deaths shall be avenged. Our abducted girls, who have already undergone irreparable damage with these terrorists, were the last straw for some of us. We will teach Boko Haram a lesson; its last lesson. We will fight and die to eradicate this menace, swiftly, efficiently and in totality. Borno, prior known to be one of the most peaceful and hospitable places on the earth, will be restored its life.

We believe in our inalienable right to bear arms and defend ourselves and our families and friends in the state of national emergency. We look forward to and urge the government's wise cooperation and speedy approval of our request for authorization.

We are united by a common humanity and a common bond as a people and a nation to fight and eliminate all undesirable elements that have within the last four years, wrecked havoc on us.

While awaiting authorization, the clamor increases, the people are ready and the nation waits for dynamic leadership.

May the Almighty grant us victory!

 God bless Nigeria.

Kim and Kanye planning three wedding ceremonies

Kim K and and her third husband-to-be Kanye
West are planning not one, not two, but three
wedding ceremonies…
According to Radar Online the couple plan to
have two ceremonies in France and one in
Southern California for legal purposes. The Paris
wedding date is rumored to be May 24th.
To avoid long lines and red tape, a source
tells RadarOnline.com, the couple’s lawyers
recommended they hold a civil ceremony in
the United States prior to their French
nuptials on May 24.
“Typically, the U.S. recognizes citizens
getting married in France, but dealing with a
foreign government and paperwork could be
a nightmare,” the insider explains. “So just
to make sure it’s legal, Kim and Kanye will
first be having a civil ceremony in Southern
California.”
Next, the couple will cross the Atlantic for
their dream ceremony in Paris— and French
law dictates that there be two wedding
ceremonies.

Nigeria Musician Arrested For Demanding Cow Blood At A Weeding

A musician in Lagos has been arrested and charged to the court after reports that he demanded cow blood at a wedding.

The prosecutor, Inspector Rachael Williams, told the court that the offences were committed on April 11 on Shemboye Oladunni Street., Baruwa, Ipaja, Lagos State.

He said the accused demanded the blood of a cow that was slaughtered at the ceremony, but the complainant, Mrs Morenike Shemboye, the brides mother, declined the request, compelling the accused to leave.

The complainant sighted the accused again at the reception and asked him what he had come to do. He was arrested because he could not give a satisfactory answer.

When the police searched his house, they found different charms, Williams said.

The prosecutor said the offences contravened Sections 21(1), 133(b) and 166(d) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

The accused pleaded not guilty. The Magistrate, Mr Tajudeen Elias, remanded the accused in the Kirikiri Prison, and adjourned the case to April 30 for ruling on his bail application.

DPO Accused Of R*pe Still In Detention -Lagos CP

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr Umar Manko, yesterday, assured Nigerians that the panel investigating the alleged r*pe of a mother of three by a Divisional Police Officer, DPO, in Lagos was working hard to unravel the truth behind the claims.

This is just as the command has debunked reports that the DPO had been released from custody. Rather, it maintained that the DPO was still in the cell.

Also, the command debunked reports that robbers, Monday, raided for several hours un-challenged in Mushin area of Lagos.

Answering questions from newsmen on the DPO and another policeman posted on YouTube battering a woman, Manko said the command would not shield anyone, be he a civilian or policeman, that committed a crime.

Anyone who offends the law faces the wrath of the law, policemen inclusive. Investigation is still ongoing by the panel set up by the Inspector-General of Police.

Also, the policeman that was posted on YouTube battering a lady, has been arrested and is still being detained.

 Mushin clash not robbery

He, however, clarified that the Mushin reported robbery was not true after all. Rather, he explained that it was a fight among rival groups over supremacy.

He said: There is no way robbers can come and hold Lagos to ransom for seven hours without Police being there.

What happened in Mushin was a disagreement between two groups that were fighting for supremacy. One group took money from somebody and refused to share for the other one.

It was in this process they had an encounter. It happened in the morning and at night. They had a carnival and used the opportunity of the night to launch attack on each other.

The Police were there and the situation was brought to normalcy. Robbers cannot rob for seven minutes without police responding, let alone for seven hours.

Spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Ngozi Braide, a Deputy Superintendent of Police,DSP, said: The DPO is still in our detention. He is in the cell at Area F. It is not possible to release a man with such magnitude of allegation bothering on r*pe.

Braide said the Police High Command investigating panel set up to look into the matter has not submitted its report, arguing that the DPO would not have been released when the panel has just commenced investigation.

In another development, Manko commended Lagosians for partnering with the command to fight crime. He gave the commendation during the inauguration of a training and administrative building built by the Lagos State Police Traffic Division, Awolowo Road, Ikeja.

Represented by the Area F Commander, Mr Tunde Adagunduro, he described the building as a manifestation of police relations and friendship with members of the public.

  roses.

To many people, love is tricky and confusing.

And to many others, love is just a mirage.

They may be in a relationship and still never experience true love.

But every new relationship has the potential to blossom into something spectacular and wonderful, just as long as you remember the relationship rules that matter the most.

 Relationship rules for successful love

But as trivial and simple as they may seem, its something that needs a lot of effort and dedication to achieve.

Someone once said that falling in love should be effortless.

True, falling in love is easy, but staying in love always needs a bit of work. Just as long as working on a relationship feels less like work and more like fun, you should be just fine.

 25 relationship rules that matter

Follow these relationship rules in your own relationship, irrespective of whether its new or old. As long as youre committed to creating a better relationship, youd have no trouble creating a magical experience out of love.

#1 Try your best to love your partner unconditionally even if it seems hard not to be selfish.

#2 Think from your partners perspective when it comes to matters of the heart.

#3 End an argument as soon as possible, even if hugging your partner is the last thing on your mind. [Read: How to fight fair in a relationship]

#4 Make love regularly, but never allot times for it. Scheduling a time for s*x makes it a chore that can start to become a bore.

#5 Communicate with each other and grow together in love, but never grow apart with lack of communication as the years pass by.

#6 Learn to give space to each other to become better individuals. Even the closest of relationships need some alone time to miss each other now and then.

#7 Never take each other for granted. This is the easiest way to fall prey to affairs and arguments.

#8 Say a white lie when you need to, especially if its a little lie that wont change your relationship, but will make your partner feel happy.

#9 Never shy away from positive criticism. As long as you say it in a constructive manner, itll help your partner become a better person.

#10 Be the shoulder to lean on, no matter what. Tough times are the most testing phases of a relationship. Stand by your partner, and when the storm ends, love will shine brighter.

#11 Never argue in public, but indulge in public display of affection.

#12 Date each other even if youve been together for years. It keeps the love alive. [Read: How to stay in love forever]

#13 Look sexy for each other, and that includes a flat tummy. Just because youre in a relationship doesnt mean you should let yourself go and look
  shabby.
#14 Compliment your partner, even if its a regular chore or habit. Compliments are the best way to thank a special someone for the effort theyve taken for you, however small it may be.

#15 Celebrate the special days. Birthdays and anniversaries may repeat itself too many times, but its these milestones that create memories.

#16 Never intentionally try to make your partner feel bad or look bad. Itll leave a lasting scar that can hurt the relationship.

#17 Learn to forgive without holding grudges. As hard as it may be, forgiveness is one of the qualities of true love that matters most in a relationship.

#18 Respect your partner whole heartedly.

#19 Understand that your partner can have crushes on others too. Its a difficult thought, but if you admire someone else, so can your partner.

#20 Trust your partner and your instincts, even if others say otherwise.

#21 Never grumble or badmouth each other even if youre tempted to, out of anger or frustration.

#22 Learn to spend quality time with each other. Theres no better way to fall more in love with each other as the relationship grows.

#23 Behave like children now and then. A few pillow fights or cute wrestles can never hurt anyone. But it can help both of you enjoy the relationship.

#24 Be spontaneous with your affections. Dont always wait for special occasions or moments to express your love. Spontaneous surprises are always happier than planned surprises.

#25 Whatever works! No relationship is alike. Instead of learning from someone elses relationship, learn from your own relationships successes and failures.
These relationship rules could seem simple, but following them to the tee can make all the difference between a romantic relationship and a failed affair. If you really do treasure your love, make a difference with these tips. You wont regret it!

A Kado, Abuja Grade 1 Area Court on Thursday ordered a man,ALADE AFOLABIto be given six strokes of the cane for his attempt to commit a crime, VANGUARD reports. He allegedly attempted to rob someone who was withdrawing money from an ATM.

Afolabi was not granted bail because the presiding officer of the case has deemed him to be mentally challenged.

Busted Female Teacher jailed For having Sex With 17 Years Old Student

It appears this isn't the first time she got too close to her students.

Former teacher Jennifer Fichter, 29, was locked up last week after her alleged sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student at the Central Florida Aerospace Academy in Lakeland, Fla., came to light.

Now she faces an additional 20 counts of unlawful activity with a minor for another alleged sexual relationship with a 17-year-old junior at the school. It lasted from October 2011 to May 2012 when she was 26, authorities said.

"We located our latest victim during our investigation at the school interviewing students," Officer Carrie Eleazer of the Polk County Sheriff's Office told the Daily News. "He did not come forward, we went to him."

Their inappropriate relationship started in September when the boy would hang around her classroom after hours and they would text each other, Polk County Sheriff's Office said.

The following month the teen started going to her apartment. Watching TV led to cuddling, which led to kissing and eventually sex, according to an affidavit.

The relationship ended for unknown reasons and authorities were unaware that it happened until Fichter was arrested April 14 for allegedly having a sexual relationship with the second 17-year-old.

That's when authorities learned about the relationship from last year. He told police that he and Fichter had sex about 20 times in his bedroom while his mother was away from home, according to an arrest report.

There were other red flags in Fichter's not-too-distant past about her alleged interest in teen boys.

In September of 2012, an officer conducted an interview with Fichter after she allegedly admitted to a co-worker that she was infatuated with a 14-year-old.

Fichter told the detective she stayed in touch with the teen on Facebook but denied there was anything sexual about their conversations.

"He was having family problems, school problems," the English teacher said to the officer. "Sometimes there would be posts that were in relation to things we had discussed in literary terminology."

The detective closed the case and determined "this incident did not rise to the level of any crime."

Eleazer explained that the sheriff's office notifies the school board every time they receive allegations against a teacher. The school board then conducts its own investigation.

Fichter was fired earlier this week and will have her first appearance in court on the new charges Thursday.

WHY OBJ's Political Conference In 2005 Turned In To Failure

ONE OF THE THINGS WHICH UNITE A FORMER PRESIDENT OLUSEGUN OBASANJO AND PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN IS THAT BOTH OF THE LEADERS INITIATED NATIONWIDE CONFERENCES. ONE THING WE KNOW FOR SURE, OBJ’S INITIATIVE, THE 2005 NATIONAL POLITICAL REFORMS CONFERENCE, HAS FAILED.

An ex- Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin and a co-chair of the 2005 Conference, Prof Ishaq Oloyede, explained on April 23, 2014, Wednesday, what was behind this failure.

He declared that the event failed mainly because the members of the then National Assembly were not carried along.

 > "Because the National Assembly that had the powers was not convinced of what we were doing, therefore when the President (Obasanjo) presented it to them, they just dumped it," he said.

Oloyede, who is also a delegate to the ongoing 2014 National Conference expressed hope that the mistakes of the 2005 Conference would not be repeated again.

 > "What you can do is to get the National Assembly to either make an enabling law or to consider this matter and legislate on it," he advised.

The ex- VC has also debunked the allegations that the 2005 conference failed because of issues surrounding the rumoured tenure extension sought by Obasanjo, added that extension of the tenure had never been recommended during the event.

It would be recalled that THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE, consisting of 492 delegates, was INAUGURATED BY PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN IN ABUJA ON MARCH 17, 2014. The three-month-long event would provide the opportunities for discussing key problems for Nigeria.

Justin Bieber Apologizes For Disrespecting Japan

Justin Bieber has apologized for visiting and taking pictures at the Yasukuni war shrine in Japan, saying he didn't know of the shrine's history.

The Yasukuni shrine, founded by Emperor Meiji, was originally built to commemorate individuals who had died in service of the Empire of Japan during the Meiji Restoration, but now honors over 2.5 million people dead from various wars.

The Yasukuni shrine is also a touchy subject to fellow Asian countries China & South Korea who see it as a symbol of Japan's past militarism and see visits to it as a lack of understanding or remorse over wartime history.

Bieber had posted pictures of himself praying outside the shrine and standing beside a priest, attracting fierce criticism from Asia.

In a new Instagram post Wednesday evening, Bieber said he asked his driver to stop when he saw the shrine.

"I was mislead to think the Shrines were only a place of prayer. To anyone I have offended I am extremely sorry," the post said.

Missing Flight MH370: Object Suspected To Be Debris Of Plane Found On Australian Beach

Investigators looking for missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 have expressed caution about debris found washed up on a West Australian beach.

The debris was discovered on a beach 10km east of Augusta and was reported to police.

Authorities say the 2m x 2m item is now at Bussellton police station where it has been photographed.

Australian Transport Safety Bureau Chief Commissioner Martin Dolan said it appeared to be a piece of sheet metal with rivets.

Although Mr Dolan said the debris was sufficiently interesting for us to take a look at the photographs, he added that the more we look at it, the less excited we get, CNN reported.

The Australian-led Joint Agency Coordination Centre said the photos were being examined to determine whether further physical analysis is required and if there is any relevance to the search for missing flight MH370.

However, Malaysian officials appeared puzzled by suggestions any part of the plane could possibly have been found on a WA beach.

Azharuddin Abdul Rahman, the head of Malaysias Civil Aviation Department, said the debris had not been verified yet as a part of the aircraft.

The debris was found by an unidentified man who told local farmers about it before reporting it to police.

Australia's Nine News earlier reported that three objects had washed up, one believed to be the length of a car with distinct rivets.

The latest find came as Prime Minister Tony Abbott insisted Australia wont be abandoning the search even if no wreckage was located during the underwater hunt.

Australia will not rest until we have done everything we humanely can to get to the bottom of this mystery, Mr Abbott insisted.

The hunt for the jet has focused on a search area about 1500km north west of Perth after pings believed to be from the planes black boxes were detected there.

So far nothing has been found and the air search was suspended yesterday for the second day in a row due to heavy seas and poor visibility.

The Prime Minister said he had no advice whatsoever to suggest there is any truth in claims the plane may have landed somewhere.

His words came in response to a report in the New Straits Times quoting sources close to the investigation saying that they were considering revisiting the scenario that the plane had landed at an unknown location.

Our expert advice is that the aircraft went down somewhere in the Indian Ocean, we have identified a probable impact zone, which is about 700km long, about 80km wide, Mr Abbott told reporters in Canberra.
